The Wakefield District Local Strategic Partnership is the overarching multi-sector partnership body for the District.  It is a strategic body comprising of a network of partnerships that include key organisations, agencies and stakeholders to identify and address the key issues facing Wakefield District.  

The Partnership has agreed the Developing Knowledge Communities Community Strategy, which includes a shared vision of the future of the District, the key challenges it faces and the principles by which it will work.  

The Partnership will work together and collectively harness its resources to deliver the Community Strategy for the District with the primary aim of:

"enabling key organisations and agencies to work together with citizens to improve our quality of life"
