Wakefield Together is in the process of developing a strategy which is designed to promote the present and future wellbeing of people aged 50 and over in the period 2008-2013.

Through this strategy the Partnership is aiming to put people aged 50 and over at the heart of the District's 25 year vision of improving quality of life by making it healthier, safer, stronger and with a dynamic local economy. The consultation process is now open. A Pre-Strategy Consultation Framework has been produced to provide more details regarding the nature and purpose of the strategy and an opportunity for people to comment upon what is being proposed.
