The role of the Thematic Partnerships is in developing an integrated approach to quality of life themes within the context provided by Wakefield Together. Their responsibility is co-ordination of activities against each of the three challenges of the Community Strategy.

Each Partnership has a responsibility to develop Joint Action Plans to meet the challenges set out in the Community Strategy - Developing Knowledge Communities.
