15th: Wakefield Green Living Day, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Waterton Countryside Discovery Centre, Anglers Country Park, Wintersett (follow the signs).  A fun day out for all the family where you can find out more about being Green.  There will be a wide range of exhibitions providing advice on renewable energy, recycling, composting, Green transport and home energy efficiency.  You can take a look at that working solar demonstration system at the Discovery Centre.  There will also be lots of freebies, free face painting, live music, kids competition and refreshments.  Why not come along and find out how you can do your bit and the greener in your home.  Check out our website for more information on home energy efficiency: www.wakefield.gov.uk/energy
