Apr 2003: Wakefield Neighbourhood Renewal Learning Action Plan
The Wakefield District Partnership held a half day event at the Town Hall on Friday 28 March 2003.
The event was attended by Policy Makers, Decision Takers, Service Deliverers, Community Activists who all came together to discuss Neighbourhood Renewal Learning and to contribute to the delivery of the Wakefield Neighbourhood Renewal Strategy.
Participants were welcomed on the day by MC Paula Grizzard, on behalf of the Partnership. Mike Holt, a Consultant and the lead Officer for the development of the NR Learning Action Plan Event welcomed the attendance of so many key decision makers and their involvement in the development of a Learning Action Plan.
Key speakers at the event included Isobel Mills, Government Office, the Chairman of Wakefield District Partnership Councillor Peter Box, and the new Chief Executive of Wakefield Council - John Foster and the Assistant Chief Executive - Steve Stewart.
