Jun 2008 - A question of health? Wakefield Speaks wants your views
The next series of Wakefield Speaks is due to take place soon. This round of Wakefield Speaks will focus on building Healthier Communities and is being delivered in partnership with the Primary Care Trust. A market place providing advice and information relating to health issues will be available too. We will also be ensuring that we provide information relating to some of the key issues raised at last years Wakefield Speaks events at this market place too.
One of our key themes is around health, and how we can help people to adopt healthier lifestyles. In particular, the local NHS (Wakefield District Primary Care Trust) has been listening to what citizens have been saying about health. They know that services are needed closer to home. At Wakefield Speaks the PCT will be talking about their plans for health outside hospitals.
Why not come along and let us know what you think?
