Families and Neighbourhoods - Local Area Agreement
The Local Area Agreement is based on delivering services more closely to how people live their lives by dealing with the particular needs of individuals, looking at how they relate to the family they are part of and also the neighbourhoods where they live.
The new LAA represents a revised commitment for the next three years by all partners to work together on our key challenges of building Safer and Stronger Communities, Healthier Communities and Skills Enterprise and Work. Families and Neighbourhoods shows how we will improve our services to tackle the priorities of local people. The production of the LAA follows an extensive engagement process including partners and citizens that has taken place over the last nine months, including a series of Wakefield Speaks events.
